Sorry, but at the present these applications are only available in German language (except: there is an English version of M&I WinEditor with German help files). See the short descriptions below for more information about these products. To test the German versions you may download the shareware versions from there.

M&I WinEditor is a professional Text Editor for all 32 bit Windows versions which has been implemented according to the Windows user interface guidelines. It enables you to edit large text files. All the standard features of conventional editing programs and many additional features are implemented like: unlimited undoing, sorting, formatting, print preview, Drag&Drop editing, different conversions, text markers, replacing within all opened files, replacing of multiple strings at once, ...

In hex editor mode you can view and edit all kinds of files.

A powerful global search function searches quickly and easily for files or texts within files in different folders or entire drives.

The file compare function can help you discover differences between two text files (e.g. source files).

Syntax highlighting can be activated, especially when editing source code of programming languages.

A column block mode is provided for selecting text in a column-oriented way.

You can choose between ANSI code set (normally used in Windows applications) and DOS code set. All the Windows fonts available, including proportionally spaced fonts, can be used.

M&I WinEditor is a MDI (multiple document interface) application which allows many files to be edited simultaneously. It manages lists of recently used and favorite files, the setup of file groups enables multiple files to be opened at once.

M&I CD-Register catalogs the contents of all kinds of disks your PC can work with like floppy disks, hard disks and especially CD-ROMs and audio CDs. It stores the names of files and folders, their sizes and time information.

You may add comments to every file or folder - to later search for - or comments can be automatically read from files like "files.bbs", "file_id.diz" and others which you can name optionally.

The contents of many compressed file formats (ZIP, ARJ, LHA, ARC, ...) can be read and stored.

The information of every prior scanned drive/disk is presented to you in a explorer like window.

Different search functions are provided to search for files/folders, comments or for already cataloged disks.

After inserting the original disk - the disk belonging to the currently opened contents window - you may use M&I CD-Register as a file manager to edit, run, copy or extract the selected file(s).

Music CDs (audio CDs) are handled in a different way: You can connect to the world's largest online database for music CDs CDDB to query the titles and other information of a CD to be registered.
